Hi there! So glad you found me, my name is Jade.
You’re probably on my website because you’re a traveller or a dreamer, or both!
Well, I’m definitely both. I spend all my spare time at work dreaming of travelling, and then all my free time away from work travelling. And so here we are.
A little more about me in case you were wondering:
I’m Australian and an engineer who is currently working in exotic West Kazakhstan.
I’ve also been lucky enough to live and work in Cairo, Egypt and Port-of-Spain, Trinidad & Tobago.
I’m an adventurer at heart – I’ve climb Mt Kilimanjaro, driven across America, quadbiked next to the Pyramids, peered over Victoria Falls, slept under the stars in the desert, got bitten by a turtle in Barbados and
ice swimming in Kazakhstan – just to name a few!
I started this blog as an outlet for all the stories, memories and photos I’ve been collecting over the years, ever since I started independently travelling at the age of 21. It’s also a place where I can share my travel tips and plans through my guides and pack lists.
I hope you enjoy exploring the site, and if you have any stories you’d like to share or contribute, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I would love to hear from you. At the end of the day, meeting people from around the world and listening to their stories is what makes it all worth it – oh, and those endless horizons… those just kill me.
Feel free to comment on anything so I can continue to work on improving this site for you!
lots of love
